Underwater Chainsaws & Diamond Chainsaws

EC Hopkins offer underwater chainsaws for cutting hard and soft timbers, masonry materials and reinforced concrete. We have machines that can be used both below and above the waterline. The Spitznas chainsaw has a chain brake and is therefore the only hydraulic machine, CE marked for wood cutting using traditional wood cutting chains underwater.

We also offer underwater diamond chainsaws fitted with a special diamond coated chain which can cut hard marine timbers such as Greenheart. This specially coated chain can also cut other materials such as plastic. In addition to the wood cutting saws we offer underwater diamond chainsaws fitted with segmented diamond chains. These saws are capable of cutting rock and reinforced concrete.
