Delivery charge

EC Hopkins offer free delivery to UK mainland destinations on orders above £100 including VAT. Large or heavy items may incur a carriage surcharge charge but you will be informed during the ordering process.

The majority of products offered on the website are available for despatch from stock. Orders placed before 2.30pm will typically be despatched the same day. Most of our parcels are shipped by DPD and notification of time of delivery is sent via text or email. For any items not available for immediate dispatch we will contact you and advise on the expected lead time. If your order is time critical please call to obtain more accurate delivery information. Please note that all goods must be signed for on delivery.

DPD delivers next day to most mainland UK locations but some outlying areas and UK Islands may take 2-3 days and could incur additional charges. If you have not received your goods after 3 days please contact us by phone or email. For an additional charge we can offer pre 10.30 and Saturday deliveries. Please note all delivery times quoted are working days, so Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

Deliveries outside of the UK

EC Hopkins offer delivery to many overseas destinations. Prices and lead times will vary depending on the location so please see the table below. These prices are for orders under 31.5 kg. For larger, heavier items please contact us for delivery information. We reserve the right to cancel the order if we cannot deliver the item for the price quoted but will contact you in this instance to discuss the options.

Customers with non-UK VAT number

For business’s outside of the UK with a valid non-UK EU VAT number you will not be charged VAT if you enter your number when requested. For full VAT information please click here.

Returns policy and your right to cancel

You can cancel your order from when you place it up to 7 working days after you receive the delivery. When you receive the goods, you should inspect them for defects or damage. If you find a defect or damage you must tell us as soon as possible and arrange for the goods to be returned. If the products are found to be damaged prior to delivery to you, or defective, we will repair or replace the products or if neither is possible, we will refund the price paid by you for the products.

Items returned must be received in the same unused condition and in the original, undamaged packaging. Special order and non-standard items, used or in a condition not as dispatched which therefore renders them unsalable as new will not be accepted back for credit.
