An underwater impact wrench can be used in a wide range of applications and are ideal for the harsh environments involved with subsea pipelines, large structures and even offshore windfarms. Yet the smaller units are suitable for work on canals or smaller marine projects in harbours, reservoirs and even sea defences.

There is an underwater impact wrench for assembling and untightening  bolts using impact sockets from 6mm in size up to 150mm. EC Hopkins also supply standard or deep impact sockets as well as extensions and adaptors. These are available in imperial or metric sizes and made to cope with high torque the impact wrench can generate.
