The Fein AKBC36 Cordless Compact Mag Drill is extremely small and light variable speed mag drill with a core drilling performance characterised by high precision and quality. Tough enough for holes with diameters of up to 36 mm and extremely small at of only 169mm high, 356mm long (including battery)and only 8.5kg this is an extremely powerful small package. The AKBC36 is also reversible allowing for tapping up to M12.
Whether drilling at height or from the side, the AKBC36 is the drill for you. 8,000Nm holding force with an integrated tilt sensor and magnetic force indicator making sure that you are always in good position to drill. The ratchet lever operates from both sides making it a doddle to use in confined spaces
The AKBC36 has a high performance variable speed brushless motor that allows you to use it efficiently. The AKBC36 uses every bit of power when you need it, while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the heat generated and working more efficiently.
A performance display shows the battery level, speed setting and drilling pressure. All relevant parameters are always clearly visible. Six LEDs display the current operating status of the active performance display in real time – ensuring maximum efficiency and a measurably longer service life for the annular cutter.

- Very safe: Permanent magnet with 8,000 N holding force, LED display for magnetic holding force and drilling pressure, and tilt sensor with automatic motor stop.
- Maintenance-free spindle feed ensures high concentricity.
- Fine adjustment of the permanent magnet for precise alignment at the drilling point.
- Can be used in thin sheet metal from 6 mm material thickness with reduced magnetic holding force.
- High gearbox positioning for optimum view of the drilling point.
- Drive shaft combines a 1/2-inch square drive and an 8 mm hex socket.
- 1/2 in adapter with SW19 hexagon for activating the magnet in tight or deep installation positions with open-end, box-end or socket wrenches.
- Compatible with Bosch Professional 18 V batteries since 2008 as well as with AMPShare and EXPERT batteries (8.0 Ah).
