The popular Spitznas pneumatic reciprocating saw 512120010 with ATEX approval for the mining, nuclear and utility industry. These air powered hacksaws offer portable cutting for pipe, structural steel, tanks and other materials. These pneumatic saws are safer than cutting with a welding torch in hazardous areas or confined spaces, with the ability to cut a 760mm (30″) diameter pipe in one pass.

These pneumatic reciprocating saws need to be used with a pipe clamp, there is an optional saw blade guide available to increase blade stability plus there are manual and automatic pipe clamps. In addtion there are clamps for other profiles such as beams etc. There are 2 versions available one with a lever trigger 5 1212 0050 and another with the twist trigger 5 1220 0010.

The pneumatic versions of the Spitznas recip saws are Atex approved, with group I and II models avialable for zones 1 and zones 2 and have very low vibration and noise levels. These reliable reciprocating saws offer excellent cutting performance in a range of materials and operate in the toughest of environments.  These saws are available with either a lever trigger or a twist on/off system with a safety start button which is ideal when using one of the auto feed systems.
